Officials from the New Orleans Bowl, UL Lafayette, and Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission, will all reconvene to officially welcome the University of Southern Mississippi to Lafayette. The Southern Miss Golden Eagles will arrive on Saturday, 12/17, by bus at the official team hotel, Best Western Acadiana, at 3:45pm, to the Bowl tradition of live music and their first official bead catching. The Golden Eagles will travel by bus from Hattiesburg, and will be greeted by police escort outside of Lafayette.

Interview opportunities will be available selected players, as well as officials from the New Orleans Bowl and Lafayette Convention and Visitors Commission, and possibly Head Coach Jeff Bower. While media are asked to arrive by 3:45pm, they are also welcome to call Sam Joffray between 3:00 and 3:30 to confirm arrival times: 504-234-3207
