Memphis Notes and Quotes from Monday practice (#3) in New Orleans

On Monday the Tiger football team loaded up the buses bound for the
Superdome. Once they arrived, they dressed in their game uniforms and
took a commemorative team photo. Each player also had the opportunity
to take an individual photo.

After photos, the players had a typical Friday walkthrough for about an
hour. When the squad arrived back at the hotel, Canal Street was lined
with Tiger fans preparing for the parade that was to roll at 6:30 p.m.

"None of these players were born the last time that Memphis was in a
bowl game," said Tommy West. "They are really excited about the fans
that have been pouring in here steadily the last 24 hours. Our fans
have really come out and supported us this season, and we want to give
them something back."

"I am very thankful that our administration at the University has been
so supportive of us. Right now, we are in 'game' mode and are looking
forward to this game tomorrow."
