“The most dangerous thing about them (Cincinnati) is that they are a very, very good team both running and passing. With their running game, they spread you out and that opens up the pass and when they pass, they do not have just one go-to guy…they have three or four.”

Our intent is to limit their big plays. We’ve got to make their quarterback (Gino Guidugli) throw a bad pass and we’ve got to make good tackles. We’ve got to keep their big plays limited.”

“This year, we are playing for more than ourselves, we are playing for our school and our conference. (Cincinnati quarterback Gino Guidugli) is their sparkplug. If he gets hot, he’ll start completing passes on you left and right. He’s just a sophomore, so he’ll just get batter and better. He gets rid of the ball so fast that we have to be prepared all the time.”

“We’ve got more guys emphasizing this game more than we did last year. We are more focused on what we have to do. (Cincinnati’s) offense is based on their quarterback (Gino Guidugli) and he likes to spread the ball, spread the defense and mix it up. I think we’ve got a good game plan. We’ve got to step it up…step it up and stop them.”
